Ian Harris

Founder and Managing Director

Ian has spent over 18 years working in education, training, and sport, starting out as a teacher before moving into leadership roles as Head of Department and Pastoral Lead. That hands-on experience in schools shaped his approach to founding Venture Training & Education and Venture Camps, a Kent-based organisation that partners with schools to improve PE provision and runs holiday camps for young people across the region. Ian's work is rooted in a simple belief: that quality physical education and active experiences can make a real difference in children's lives.

Elizabeth Morgan

Elizabeth Morgan

Head of Partnerships & Enrolment

Elizabeth brings many years of experience across the education sector, working both within school settings and in pioneering one-to-one provision at a national level. With a strong passion for sport and personal experience as a running coach, she is committed to delivering high-quality training that enhances physical education across all key stages. Elizabeth combines practical expertise with a deep understanding of educational development, empowering educators to create engaging, inclusive, and impactful PE experiences for every learner.

Stewart Clayton

Stewart Clayton

Lead Tutor & IQA

Stewart brings 12 years of experience in education and training, with a career rooted in Physical Education, teaching, and coaching before moving into his current role as Lead Assessor and Tutor.

As Lead Assessor and Tutor, Stewart is dedicated to guiding learners through their qualifications with clarity, encouragement, and genuine care. He takes pride in helping individuals build the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed, drawing on over a decade of real classroom and coaching experience to make his teaching relevant, practical, and engaging.

Estelle Torto

Tutor & Assessor

Estelle brings a wealth of experience to her practice. With a foundation in Child Psychology and a career spanning primary school PE teaching, designated safeguarding leadership, and online adult education, she has developed a deep and diverse understanding of how people learn and grow at every stage of life.

Having worked with individuals of all ages, both inside and outside the classroom, Estelle is driven by a genuine desire to open doors and create meaningful opportunities for those striving to reach their potential. Her passion lies in guiding people towards their goals and empowering them to succeed.

James Newman

James Newman

Tutor & Assessor

James brings seven years of classroom experience to his role as a tutor and assessor, having developed his skills first as a teaching assistant supporting in the classroom before becoming a PE teacher and transitioning to online adult education. His journey from hands-on school environments to digital learning spaces has given him a versatile approach to supporting learners of all ages. What drives James most is witnessing the growth and development of both young people and adults—helping them unlock their potential, build confidence, and achieve goals they once thought out of reach.

Meagan Cheek

Meagan Cheek

Administrator

Meagan Cheek holds a degree in Primary Education and spent 10 years teaching Kindergarten in the United States, developing a passion for engaging, inclusive, child-centred learning. She's also worked in nursery settings, giving her a strong grounding in early childhood development and learning through play.

Since 2019, Meagan has helped plan and deliver Venture Camps' holiday camps for children aged 4–11, ensuring every child has a safe and enriching experience. She also brings HR expertise — recruitment, training, safeguarding, and team development — and is passionate about building strong teams where children and staff alike can thrive.
